Comment on Washington Crossing the Delaware Painting (4 Weird Things) by Bryan Sutherlin https://museumhack.com/washington-crossing-delaware/#comment-11313 Thu, 31 Dec 2020 19:18:57 +0000 https://museumhack.com/?p=15319#comment-11313 A painting to remember a brilliant
military strategist is wonderful to me! The artist was not actually there freezing his “nanunanu’s off” so how was he able to depict the setting with accuracy. Ole George did his job under extreme weather conditions, with ill clothed men, and under fed soldiers who believed in their leader and their country’s cause. Not many men nowadays would put up with walking or marching in the snow leaving trails of blood tindged snowy foot prints for the cause!
Ole George didn’t loose a single man, cannon, or horse on this daring attack. So who cares that the lighting may be wrong, or the boats were depicted shorter than 40-60 feet. The painting depicted a wonderful event that actually occurred in our country’s youngest years.

Comment on Cleopatra: How One Woman Nearly Destroyed Two Civilizations by Z https://museumhack.com/cleopatra/#comment-11279 Fri, 25 Dec 2020 07:25:45 +0000 https://museumhack.com/?p=14079#comment-11279 LOL she herself admit that the worthless cleopatra can do nothing but destroy civilization. She wasnt known to bring peace and wealth to the land that was given to her, she is known for destroying everything she touch. At least midas touch turn everything into gold that can be use, you kind can only destroy what men build. Its a prime example of how worthless females are. Men can build monuments that last for centuries while parasites only leave destruction and no legacy.
